Hey Joe, how are you and your pops doing? Tell him my old motor still purrs like a kitten, well more like a Tiger! Ha Ha. I will be talking to you soon about some parts for the late model were putting together I have the chassis being painted right now and will be putting it together in the next little bit. I plan on running with Wentz next year as I'm sure Johnny and Terry Simpson will too. I totaled the frame on the mod at Mt. Sterling 1st race last year and figured I would try something new.

We're doing good. We have been trying to race this summer and have been busy with our car. We ran a 5.20 @ 143 mph the last race so we are getting there it's just taking a while to get it all figured out. Glad to hear your motor is still doing good, sorry about the frame though.

Sweet Lord almighty! That is MOVING and you still want MORE?! What class do you race and at what track? I have a friend who races Outlaw 8.5 (26x8.5 tire, 1 plate kit/jet limited, no wheelie bars) and his car ran like a 5.56 @ 125. I thought that was pretty dern good for a small tire car.

Yes, I am Joe Mayabb. We run a class called True Street at Ohio Valley Dragway in Louisville. You have to run a 10" slick and my car has to weigh 3050 lbs with stock suspension. We are hoping for some high 4.90s at 146-150 mph when we get it all lined out. It's a major chore getting the car to hook without blowing the tires off or standing on the bumper because we are not allowed wheelie bars. Here are some pictures of it.

we visited at this track on Sunday and had the grand tour from Wentz Mayabb. He says it's got about 15 degrees banking and insisted we make a lap in my car What fun! Also, for more specific directions, the track is located at mile marker 8 on Rt 191. We made the trip home to the Huntington area, via West Liberty/Sandy Hook/Grayson in a little under 2 hours.
We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box

Allen runs in the class above me. He is allowed big tires and wheelie bars. He is at the top of his class right now. Wince dropped of a computer program last night for me to look at for the track. It keeps track of the laps and what positon all of the cars are in and finishing order. I hope to look at it tonight.
