Check this out I been working on it now for about a week, this is my first ever upload to YouTube. This is something I been wanting to do for a while.
This is just my way of saying good bye to a old friend, and also a way to thank all the Drivers, Track Officials, and Fans that made HMS short history here in Eastern Ky so Memorable for me and everyone who enjoyed the racing there.
The video is just over 7 minutes long, so be patient if you are on a dial-up it will be worth the wait and will bring back some memories from the 2004 season.

LOL, I have a few pics that would've been good here too - Joe Porter's office pic and others from the BoB Late Model race. I really do miss that track and getting to see and visit with on a regular basis the friends we made there.
We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box
Thanks for the compliments I did one about my little girl but never put it on You Tube, this video making with Movie Maker on Windows is alot of fun when you need a break from the rat race of work and everyday grind, and the internet
Thank You Jamie ! That was beautiful.... It made me sad to know that such an awesome track will not be raced on again.. Then I remembered the first race, Marvin always took us on the hill to watch the races while they teched and Big Jim was sitting in his truck at the top of the hill and Marvin stopped to speak to him and he said " you did it Jim " and Jim just smiled but the look of pride in his eyes is a look I'll never forget and as most of you know Jim could be rough when he wanted/needed to be, but that moment it was as if all his dreams had come true....

Well, it certainly did bring back some good memories. We have raced at numerous tracks over the years and did ok at them but somehow HMS just fit. Some of my best memories of racing were there and the pics you had in the video showed one of "The Rat Pack" who I am proud to have called friend that the Lord has called home. Remembering the times we shared over the seasons and especially at HMs brought a tear to these tired middle aged eyes. A very sincere and heartfelt THANKS!!
I miss the track but I'll always miss Donnie and Brian more.

As Mr. Bob Hope would say: "Thanks for the memories!" and thanks to you, Jamie, for allowing me to go back in time to relive some of the best days of my racing life.
1 Corinthians 8:6 NIV yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
