I got to say the Double A raceway was putting on a good show, too bad the rain got them. But still no scales.... With no scales and only tearing down 5 or so motors all last year Double A is a cheaters paradise. I think I may go out and buy me a stroker kit and take my chances on getting tore down...

Mike and Lisa are looking for someone to fix the scales if you know anybody that can fix them let them know as far as tearing down the engines if you think people are cheating you can put up the $$$$ and have them tore down.
Thats what I mean... I am going to put a stroker kit in my motor and if someone wants to tear me down they have to risk their money. Will they risk $60 to win $30? Any track that I've ever been to they tech atleast one class per night and no one ever knows what that class may be... It's not really the racers responsibility to catch people cheating... thats why most tracks have officials and nobody has to put their $$$ up to ensure a level playing ground.

I understand were your coming from I spoke with Lisa last night about the post that was on here she assured me that they was going to tech alot more this year. Just give it a week or two to get things going and you will see alot off teching , and like you said no body will know when or what class. I do think there was some karts this past sat. that needs to be tech
Definately were... But I've heard the "We are going to......" many times and have yet to see any of it come to be. But I do like running there just wish that the track was run in a proffesional manner. I know there is a lot to it and Mike and Lisa do a good job, I'm just throwing out what everyones saying because as we all know there is competition in the sat night kart tracks and I don't want to see the Double A fall victom. Last weekend the races moved right along and people were happy. But you got to keep your classes under controll and the only way to do that is a set of scales and teck the dag on things.

Sometimes its not the motor that wins the race its the driver from what I seen sat. that was the problem with (his) or her race. But if that don't help ease your pain then tear them all down you might be surprised at the outcome.
just b/c your kart is legal doesn't mean you get an automatic free pass to the front. if you are getting beat by the same person then 9/10 times its b/c that person has more talent than you.
if you are so worried about people cheating then go to a different track, one that strictly enforced WKA or IKF rules. i dont care too much for all the grey areas in AA's rules, so that's why I dont go there, but you dont see me putting down the track.
its like voting for George Bush, then complaining about gas prices, it just doesnt add up
Owners have a tuff job, they've got to listen to the drivers and decifer what would be best for the track. I gaurantee if they would've went WKA and had the scales with someone teching the motors they would still be open and the track down the road would be hurting.... Miss the track but now everywhere we run it's legit.... If someone decides to reopen the track take the advice....
