racer 33 dont forget i ran chevette along time and i have never been turned away from any track we went to i ran mudlick, brown co, brushcreek , wilard , godard, cookville tenn, southern, summerset. burnside, richmond, claycity, so how does it hurt the chevette other then it takes away your freinds.
well trueracer half those tracks are closed, alot of them are a long haul for alot of ppl and we'd only get 2 race maybe once every month cause of gas prices, idk if any of those tracks rules but i do kno that 201 wont let ur run racing wheels or have boxxing, and then a stock chevette runnin aginst mustangs and pintos has no chance
Get it Out of Reverse and Put it in FIRST!! YOU MUST BE FAST 'CAUSE I was HAULIN' donkeyWhen I Past You!!! God Bless Each And Every One of You CHEVY RACING
C7racer I think Jim & Paulette are very good people. But with the payout & car count do you think it could get much worse. Lets get real . Spend some $$$$$ get better lighting & ambulance service( how can you run a track without one) & pay something and first class cars would be there every Saturday night.

Mudlick is a great track, but there is no room to expand. In order to really upgrade and start having bigger races and crowds, you would have to expand. Jim doesn't even own that big field where the cars park. The guy that owns it just lets him use it. Jim has about 11 or maybe 12 acres. You need at least 20 or more. So it is really worth 180,000. It would be if you could expand it and really make it work for bigger crowds and cars, but you can't. Bombers run at Ports. why can't they race there.

Come on race fans or should I say Mudlick fans, this is the rat hole of racing in Kentucky probably the world!! This track has the worst lighting and seating in the world of dirt track racing. Everyone knows that late models are what brings in the crowd. Nobody that gives a crap about racing gives a sh$$ about bombers and chevettes. Why would anyone care about them anyway. Chevette's are a plague upon the racing world!! Sure they pay their money to get in but if you've ever noticed, when they're on the track, that's when everyone goes to the restroom and concession stand. Chevette racers, NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOU OR YOUR LITTLE BUMBLEBEE SOUNDING CARS!!! As for bombers, these guy want to go fast, they just don't have the b***s. That's why they drive bombers. At least drive a modified. If this track is going to survive the year long supension of racing, then something had better be done about getting more late models to race there and I just don't mean the locals that can't and won't race anywhere else. This track has had drivers in the past that were scared to race at any other track due to the level of competetion, V*** L****** in his older days. Now they have a younger breed, R***** R****, B**** D****, that is doing the same thing. If you're so good go somewhere else and try your luck, because that's what you're gonna need. If all you can do is race at this common a$$ed track and not even win every week, like V*** did, maybe it is best that this track goes away and let the real race cars go somewhere that they can get experience and make some real money instead of the chicken feed that Henderson pays. Hell, these days the money that he pays won't buy fuel and tires!!! Don't get me wrong, Jim and Paulette are great people, they just can't run a track like it should be run. First of all, they are too tight to pay anyone to work for them. If you are going to have a good track, you've got to have good people to help you run it, THEY DON'T!! Well, I think you've got my opinion of this track!! It needs to be closed or as one person said "Fill it with water and make paylake out of it". Might not be such a bad idea afterall!!! It sure as h*** ain't gonna make it as much of a racetrack, except for the people that go there every week and race there every week and don't know what a real dirt track looks like and is ran like one should be(PRP) or any other good track. All good things must come to an end and Mudlick certainly isn't good but it's time for it to come to an end until someone buys it that knows what the he** he's doing. Then it can be a great track. Thanks for reading the thoughts of a rabid late model fan!!

Before you go puttin down drivers who have ran mudlick you might wanna check you stats. Vern Lefevers won alot of championships and I am sure he has more trophy's in his house than you do. He is in the Dirt track Hall of Fame at Florence. Butch Dowdy runs competively at other tracks like your precious PRP. Roger started at Mudlick and that is where he stayed that was by choice I am sure. As for the support class without those guys no track would make it. Maybe you dont like the bombers or chevettes but that is where most of ur late model and Mod drivers started. A good late model count is important I wont argue that but, alot of you best racing comes in the other classes. Mudlick needs better management, advertising, and it needs to pay better. The Hendersons depended on friends and family to run the track which wasnt probably the best decision but that is what kept the gates open this long. I hate to see it close not that I supported the track each and every weekend but because some guys really enjoyed racing there. And I feel bad for those guys. I just dont like people getting on here kicking people when they are already down. If you dont like it then dont go that's your choice.
