Portsmouth will be the place to be this weekend. It's the last point race of the year with some close point battles in all classes except limited lates. And Robbie Lewis will be in a Rayburn racing bomber trying to spoil the Pendelton party.

Robbie ran one of their cars last weekend and started close to the tail and brought it up to 4th place he said the car was very fast and with a few adjustments and maybe a little luck with the pill draw he might even be able to put it in victory lane. Nobody really knew it was Robbie because they were announcing Jason Rayburn's name.
Randy71C I think your post is a little out of line. If you dont like mudlick fine. Dont post on their board. The guys that race there like the track, and they race there because they love racing. So who are you to say they dont have cars or talent. If your going to Rocky Top or PRP you are watching alot of guys who came from Mudlick raceway. And the majority of those are racing elsewhere not because they didnt like the track but the payout just wasnt what it is at other tracks. If you have a problem with the track you need to take that up with the owners or just dont go there.
Well all I can say is CLOSED but everybody on here from mudlick try to call people out, i'm not out of line they are, we just get tired of reading it. They like the track and run there mouth about everybody else so maybe u need to put them in check and get off me. THANKS, and who are u anyway, I can say what I want, If u dont like the facts dont read what I got to say....CLOSED

practice what you preach there Buddy!!! I'd just like to know who exactly ur talken about when you say that the boys from mudlick dint have talent. you talk about everyone else running their mouths but look what your doing right now? i dint have anything against anybody at any other track so i dint try to single out the drivers when I'm running my mouth like you are right now!!! you think your all bad why didn't you bring ur car to mudlick any this year? all I'm sayen is to be successful at another track other than your hometown track you have to have the equipment the someone like Boggs has!!! thats just part of the game but if you have that kind of equipment shouldn't you being going a little bigger than your hometown track!!!

randy71C that goes to show what you really know about Lewis Co. That track is some of the only entertainment the county has. The Mudlick boys are posting on the mudlick site. They have the right to ask guys to come race with them. They are just trying to help keep the track open. As for who I am, I am a long time racing Fan I was there the night mudlick opened. I go to other tracks and yes some have the bigger drivers and pay more but, if they like their track that is their choice. These boys dont need someone getting on here putting down their talent, cars and local track. They probably work harder and spend more out of pocket than the big drivers at PRP and RTR cause they dont have someone hired to fix their car or big sponsors to keep the best equipment. They are in it cause they love racing.

randy71C it is a real classless act to get on here and bad mouth a race track the way you have Mudlick. You have the right to your own opinon but to laugh about the track closing is going overboard. There are people that live and breath dirt track racing and really loved this track. Yeah the car count is down and the competion level has declined over the past years, but that is because the bigger tracks can afford to pay out more to the drivers. As far as people gettig on here and calling out drivers, there was one post where raceman30 ran his mouth about Jackie Boggs witch was really crazy and if you had read all of his posts you would know he was just trying to stir s--t up. And you put in your post "if you don't like the facts don't read what I got to say" then the same goes for you, if you don't like Mudlick or what the people from Mudlick have to say then don't read it!

Mudlick is a track that has fallen on some rough times in the past few years but has a storied history filled with large car counts, big name drivers, and large fan counts. It is a place that with some funding, hard work, and support from its racers and fans could be on top of its game in a short time. It is also a track where many top drivers cut their teeth.
I wish the racers, officials/owners, and fans the best no matter what is to come.

I agree with racingnut, Mudlick has people down there that go BECAUSE they LOVE RACING!! And they put all their money in their cars, they don't get it out easy because of sponsership. As far as the race track shutting down,I believe something good will come out of the race track next year, if all the racers stick together and keep it open. And, as far as the people getting on here and putting us down on our site, I think that it's just because they don't have enough confindence in their own track so they have to look to our to put down. The people that race at MUDLICK, are TRUE and decided RACERS!

For all the dedicated, low-budget drivers out there, don't listen to what Randy71C has to say because this is the type of person that you will never see out on the track making a name for themselves. Instead they just jump on the bandwagon with someone who is already successful and like to brag about it. So just keep racing like there is no tomorrow because every cat has their day.
